Glee Charlestream - Violin, Viola, Voice, and Beginning Piano

Glee is the Director of Music and Co-founder of the Charlestream School of Music.  He was also a founding member of the New England Youth Ensemble, directed by Virginia-gene Rittenhouse and performed internationally with them for 10 years.  He studied viola with Dr. Priscilla Hallberg who taught the D.C. Dounis (1893-1954) technique. Dr. Dounis was one of the most influential violin pedagogues of the twentieth century.  Glee studied choral conducting and under Donald Neuen, who is currently the conductor for the Crystal Catherdral Choir in CA.  Mr. Charlestream studied voice with the Internationally known Mr. Bill Reed and Piero Bonamico currently the Music Director of the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts' show choir and musical theater programs.

Mr. Charlestream is currently conducting beginning, intermediate and advance string ensembles. He specializes in teaching tonal vibrato performance training on the violin and viola. He also teaches private voice lessons and beginning piano.


Robert Hicks - Piano and Violin

Robert Hicks has a Bachelor degree in Music with a double emphasis in piano and violin at Southern College and a Masters degree in choral conducting from Andrews University.  He has been the music director at several different academies over the years and has recently come from DayStar Adventist Academy where he served as music director for 8 ½ years.  He is currently the Director of Music at South Church in Newport.
